New feature enhances global payment flexibility with support for both merchant and personal QR codes
PayZe, a mobile wallet and prepaid card solution developed by Tranxactor, has introduced WeChat QR code scanning within the PayZe Wallet. Customers can now scan WeChat QR codes—including both merchant and personal payment codes - and complete transactions using any PayZe card stored in their wallet, whether virtual or physical.
This new feature adds extra convenience for those traveling internationally. With a simple scan, PayZe enables fast, secure payments without the need to carry cash or switch between apps. Currency conversion is processed in real time at the point of payment.
“We’re always looking for ways to simplify payments across borders,” said John Norrie, CEO of Tranxactor. “With WeChat QR code support, PayZe becomes even more practical and flexible for customers on the move.”
In addition to the Wallet, PayZe also offers reloadable prepaid cards and gift cards, which can be used at any merchant that accepts UnionPay—both in New Zealand and overseas. Together, these products give customers multiple ways to pay, whether online, in-store, or while traveling.
This update is part of Tranxactor’s continued effort and commitment to make everyday payments simpler and introduce innovation both at home and overseas.
