Gift cards are simple for customers, but managing a successful gift card programme requires clear visibility into sales, redemption behaviour, outstanding balances, and upcoming expiries.
The TX Gift Card Programme Dashboard brings all your key reporting into one place, with simple performance measures, easy-to-read charts, and a PDF report you can share with your team.

Eight key metrics for measuring gift card performance
Across the top of the dashboard are eight summary cards. Select the last 30, 60, or 90 days to compare recent performance with the previous matching period, so you can see whether each result is moving up or down at a glance.
Cards sold (top-ups) - How many new cards were loaded, and for how much. Rising sales of smaller denominations look different from fewer, higher-value cards. The dashboard makes that distinction easy to spot.
Average top-up value - The overall average, plus a digital vs physical breakdown. Useful when e-gift cards and plastic cards behave differently. For example, last-minute digital gifts often land at lower values.
Redemptions - How many times cards were used, and the total value redeemed.
Average redemption value - Includes the percentage of transactions where cardholders use only part of their balance. This shows whether customers tend to spend the full card value in one visit or use the card like a wallet across several visits.
Average redemptions per card - How often a card is used across its lifetime.
Active cards & outstanding gift card liability - How many cards hold value and total unredeemed gift card balance.
Channel mix - Online vs in-store redemptions and digital vs physical card types. See exactly where cardholder engagement happens.
Expired cards - The value left on cards that expire, the number of cards that expired, the average unused value per expired card, and the overall expiry rate.
Reporting charts that turn gift card data into decisions
Activity over time
Track gift card sales, redemptions, and overall programme activity over time. Identify seasonal trends, campaign impacts, and changes in customer behaviour across digital and physical gift cards.

Value distribution
See the gift card values customers buy most often, grouped into eight value ranges from low-value cards through to cards valued at $500 or more. Compare digital and physical gift card purchases to understand customer preferences, identify your most popular price points, and spot value ranges where sales are low or missing.
Expiry forecast
See how many gift cards are due to expire each month and the total unredeemed value associated with them. Use this forecast to plan reminder campaigns and customer communications 30 to 60 days before major expiry periods, helping cardholders redeem their gift card balance before expiry.

Time to redeem
See how long it takes cardholders to make their first purchase after receiving a gift card. This heatmap displays redemption activity from the first 30 days through to one year for both digital and physical cards. Digital gift cards are often redeemed sooner, while physical cards may be used over a longer period. If many cards remain unused after 90 days, consider running reminder campaigns to encourage redemption.

Export and share gift card performance reports
Export the dashboard to PDF when you need to share results with business owners, management teams, partners, or stakeholders. The export includes the same summary metrics, charts, and sections shown on screen, complete with page numbering and version details for easy reporting and distribution.
